Product Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and proactive Product Development Executive to develop, coordinate and maintain travel products and tour packages that meet customer demands and business objectives. The successful candidate will conduct market research, coordinate with suppliers and internal departments, develop competitive travel itineraries, calculate package costs and support the launch and continuous improvement of the company's travel products.

Key responsibilities

• Research, develop and enhance domestic and international tour packages based on market trends, customer preferences and business opportunities
• Prepare travel itineraries, package inclusions, exclusions, selling points and product descriptions
• Identify new destinations, attractions, experiences and travel products to expand the company's portfolio
• Conduct market research to identify travel trends, customer demands and emerging tourism opportunities
• Monitor competitors' packages, pricing, itineraries, promotions and product offerings
• Liaise with hotels, airlines, ground operators, transport providers, attraction operators and overseas travel partners
• Obtain quotations, compare supplier rates and coordinate product arrangements
• Prepare tour package costing based on supplier quotations, operational expenses and applicable company pricing guidelines
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to introduce new travel packages and product updates
• Maintain updated records of product information, supplier quotations, costing sheets, itineraries and contract details

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in travel product development, tour operations, travel consultancy or a related field
• Knowledge of tour packages, travel itineraries, destinations and tourism products
• Good research, numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
• Able to work independently and collaboratively across departments
