Product Development Lead

About the role

The Product Development Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining technical standards, managing technical backlogs and release planning, and providing technical oversight for product development initiatives. This role involves determining technical approaches, approving technical designs, and ensuring quality standards are met before release.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and ensure implementation of SOPs, engineering guidelines, coding standards, and software development standards
• Determine technical backlog priorities, sprint scope, release plans, and technical timelines aligned with Product Roadmap
• Provide approval for Technical Design and Test Scenarios
• Determine technical approach and solution implementation for assigned product areas in accordance with Architecture Guidelines
• Authorize release delays when deliverables do not meet Definition of Done, quality gates, or established engineering standards
• Escalate strategic technical issues to Product Development Head
• Propose resource requirements, technical improvements, automation initiatives, and AI adoption to enhance team quality and productivity

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, with at least 2-3 years in a Team Lead or Senior Technical role
• Experience in Enterprise Application or Core System Product development
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Architecture, Software Design Patterns, API Integration, Database Design, Code Review, Unit Testing, Performance, Security, and Agile/Scrum
• Ability to lead technical teams, manage sprints, perform effort estimation, control technical risks, and collaborate across functional stakeholders
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, technical mentoring, and continuous improvement capabilities
• Familiarity with AI-assisted Development Tools, CI/CD, Project Management Tools (Jira/Azure DevOps), Git, SonarQube, and Automation Testing Frameworks
