Product Development Manager – China

Purpose of Role

To drive the on-time development of clinically effective, innovative and commercially successful products for the WOFE (General Trade) China market by working closely with Marketing, CMOs, technical formulation, business activity management, and Group Operations teams.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive innovation in China, by identifying and assessing new scientific development, technology, industry and ingredient trends.
• Provide technical expertise in development, actives formulation and evidence assembly of new and existing products suitable for local market.
• Identify and assess new scientific developments and ingredient trends (China Compliant) in partnership with other Group teams.
• Drive the on-time development of clinically effective, innovative and commercially successful products for the WOFE (General Trade) China market by working closely with Marketing, CMOs, technical formulation, business activity management, and Group Operations teams.
• Deliver agreed pipeline of WOFE projects across various regulatory pathways by liaising closely with quality and regulatory teams.

Who Are You

• Experience in the field of medical sciences/nutrition or pharmaceutical formulation or manufacturing or stability and analytical testing in line with China WOFE and Blue hat requirements.
• Proven ability to lead projects and work with cross functional teams.
• Understanding of evolving regulatory requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar industry in China.
• Qualification in relevant technical discipline.
