Product Development Manager/产品开发经理（NPI）

该职位来源于猎聘 Job Summary: Product Development Manager is responsible for the Process Design, make sure for developing highly engineered consumer electronic accessory products on time and in budget, working closely with the product design, engineering and quality functional teams. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for defining manufacturing specifications by demonstrated process capability to the industrial and product design functional teams.
• Manage the definition of processes through design of experiments including all process parameters & a thorough understanding of material properties and limitations.
• Collaborate with the functional engineering team and the supply chain team on product design and manufacturing feasibility, along with definition of the cosmetic requirements for new projects.
• Play a supervising role by providing direction to the team for the product development process by completing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) on client specifications & influence client specifications through design recommendations and the use of statistical tools.
• Assess reliability, safety, performance and risk of new designs & methodologies; Coordinate and communicate development schedules and compatibility or design issues throughout the team continuously.
• Evaluate the process and tooling requirements for new projects, manage risks associated with early production builds.
• Implement continuous process improvement measures from initial product design through to production ramp of new development projects.
• Ownership of BOM, MIP, SOP, FC, DOE, FA, DFM and FMEA. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree, 8+ years of experience in similar position and field, strong technical experience in consumer electronics or accessory hardware product development along with manufacturing process development.
• Experience working on products with challenging tolerances and high cosmetic requirements and a proven track record of delivering products to market.
• Demonstrated DFM experience and experience in new materials/process research along with innovative processing solutions for high volume consumer electronic manufacturing.
• Demonstrated hands-on mechanical ability and understanding of the quality requirements for highly engineered consumer electronic accessory products.
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in both Mandarin & English.
• Worked with US customer like MS/ Bose/ Apple in NPI phase will be advantage.
• Knowing CAD creating, proficient in all MS office/ OS applications.
