Product Development Supervisor

About the role

Asaba Group is currently developing a new product branded Agatis since 2021. We are developing the stationery products with various types. As Product Development Supervisor, you will bridge the gap between creative concept and market execution, leading a team to translate strategic vision into tangible, market-ready solutions. This role is integral to our company's growth trajectory and competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor product development team members, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget

• Oversee the entire product development cycle, from concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with company strategy and market requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, engineering, and operations to ensure seamless product delivery

• Develop and maintain product timelines, milestones, and deliverables, monitoring progress and addressing any obstacles or delays

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and feature prioritisation

• Gather and synthesise customer feedback and market insights to guide product enhancement and innovation

• Prepare and present product development reports, business cases, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

• Manage product documentation, specifications, and technical requirements throughout the development process

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• Min. Bachelor Degree in any major (preferred from Management, Marketing, Economics or any major).

• Min. 3 years experience in Product Development Supervisor, Product Management, Senior Product Development or Product Supervisor.

• Have experience in Stationery Business, Office and School Product, Retail or FMCG is point plus

• Having experience for Design Packaging, or Handling New Product, Product and Business Development

• Having experience handling supplier from China (OEM and ODM) is point plus

• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Fluency in English (Speaking and Writing) and Mandarin (conversation)

• Placement in Central Jakarta.
