Product Development/Pre-Production Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Development/Pre-Production Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the transition from product concept to production, ensuring seamless coordination across internal departments and external partners.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Daily Tasks:

o Receive, log, and distribute packages. Coordinate package send outs and advise tracking

· Product Development Tasks:

o Evaluate lab dips and prints for color and accuracy

o Log and communicate lab dip and strike-off comments

o Maintain and organize submits

o Build proto and SMS logs and maintain by season

o Tracks and organize SMS until merch handover / update design, merch & PD

· Pre-Production Tasks:

o Prepare binders for production hand-off

o Coordinate and request late add color and print needs

o Log and communicate lab dip and strike-off comments

o Facilitate seasonal style actualization

o Organize SMS production references

o Fabric and Trim submits

o Pull standards/SMS that corresponds to submits received and pass to design to review

oEmail factories with comments from PD Mgr and Design team

o File and organize submits and approvals after comments are sent

· Additional Tasks:

o Projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a team player with a great attitude. Enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. A clear communicator, patient, adaptable, willing to learn, super organized, and able to work well with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational / project coordination skills. Basic understanding or fabric types and garment processes. Needs to know basic Microsoft office – Excel mainly.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
