Product Engineer (Chon Buri)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, design, and improve manufacturing processes through comprehensive research and analysis, applying product design principles.

• Develop and implement manufacturing process enhancements by studying product requirements and collaborating with contract manufacturing teams.

• Enhance efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout, ensuring optimal production outcomes.

• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams to optimize product quality, reduce costs, and maximize productivity.

• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues with contract partners, resolving problems to meet daily operational goals.

• Collaborate with R&D and NPI teams to introduce new products onto the production floor.

• Conduct tests and monitor process performance throughout production, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

• Prepare detailed product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

• Coordinate internal and external resources to execute projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.

• Manage project risks, report status, and escalate issues as needed.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-functional meetings to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optics, Electronics, Semiconductors, Telecommunication, or any related technical field from an accredited institution.
• 5–10 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer with proven expertise in problem analysis, process improvement, and cost reduction.
• Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g., descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, SPC, ANOVA, correlation, sampling theory, factor analysis).
• Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, draw valid conclusions, and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent project management abilities with experience in handling special assignments professionally.
• Continuous improvement experience or certifications are highly desirable.
• Advanced technical skills with capability to guide product and process development.
• Fluent in English.
