Product Engineer

该职位来源于猎聘 Key responsibilities:

• Support local sources/suppliers development from Engineering side.
• Lead to evaluate new local raw material samples for existing NAO and LS formulations.
• Prepare and manage prototype orders with local chemicals, followed up with data collection, summary and CCAS follow up.
• Support engineering change request locally
• Manage raw materials, mixes, and products specifications update locally.
• Develop Friction Materials according to legal and customer requirements including capability requirements, mainly for Chinese OE/S market
• Support factory manufacturing initiatives on new products industrialization and etc..
• Work with application, sales colleague for new projects quotation.
• Research and implement Government regulation for new and existing products.
• Work within a team structure including EU, NA and full APAC team.
• Understand and use general engineering practices. (logical thinking, data driven).

Qualifications/ certifications:

• Good communication skills in English
• Knowledge in six sigma – statistical tools
• Good skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 4.bachelor degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or material science, master/doctor degree preferred 5.35 years working experience on development or process in friction material, tire or rubber industry preferred 6.35 years working experience in manufacturing processes for friction materials, tire or rubber preferred
