Product Engineer | Aerospace Manufacturing (Dimensional & Tooling Owner)

A leading aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking a Product Engineer to join its engineering team in Oxford, Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the dimensional integrity, tooling strategy, and geometric compliance of highly engineered aerospace components supporting critical aviation applications.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of product design, tooling development, GD&T, dimensional analysis, metrology, and manufacturing engineering .

Salary: $100K-150K +10% + (Relocation Package)

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the dimensional and geometric integrity of a portfolio of precision-engineered components throughout the product lifecycle

• Interpret customer drawings, engineering specifications, and GD&T requirements

• Lead tooling design, sourcing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Manage dimensional qualification activities, including First Article Inspections (FAI)

• Drive tolerance stack-up analysis and support robust manufacturing processes

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, tooling, and customer teams to resolve technical challenges

• Utilize advanced metrology techniques and inspection data to ensure product compliance

• Support new product introduction, tooling modifications, and engineering change activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline

• 3+ years of engineering experience in dimensional control, tooling design, precision manufacturing, machining, casting, or a related environment

• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and blueprint interpretation

• Experience with 3D CAD modeling software (Siemens NX preferred)

• Familiarity with advanced metrology methods such as structured blue light scanning, 3D inspection analysis, and dimensional reporting

• Knowledge of CNC machining, tool design, and manufacturing processes preferred

• Aerospace, precision machining, or investment casting experience is highly desirable
