Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) structures to support production requirements, engineering changes and product configuration.
• Manage and maintain manufacturing systems such as Shop Floor Control (SFC) and SAP, ensuring accurate material, routing and process information.
• Support rack packaging design and drive improvement activities to enhance manufacturability, assembly efficiency and product quality.
• Coordinate and implement BOM, material and engineering change activities, working closely with cross-functional teams and overseas/HQ stakeholders.
• Provide engineering support during mass production, troubleshoot production-related issues and ensure process stability and product quality.
• Drive and participate in continuous improvement / Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities at factory level, including product transfer, process setup, qualification and production readiness.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, Supply Chain and other relevant teams to ensure smooth product introduction and production execution.
• Support internal and external ISO audits, including documentation preparation, corrective actions and ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with BOM management, engineering changes and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SAP, SFC/MES or other manufacturing systems will be an advantage.
• Experience in product transfer, rack/server manufacturing or electronics manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical and hands-on approach to resolving manufacturing issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, HQ/factory teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong process discipline, ownership and follow-through.
