Product Engineer (Full-stack)

The Role
As a senior Product Engineer, you will own major parts of our product end to end, from the React interface used by businesses and workers to the Spring Boot services behind it. You will lead complex modules, set technical direction within your area, and help the engineers around you grow.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and delivery of complex frontend and backend modules, from technical design through release and monitoring.
• Build responsive web applications with React and robust RESTful APIs and services with Spring Boot.
• Set and enforce architectural patterns and code quality standards across the stack.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Partner with Product and UI/UX to turn user feedback and business needs into well-scoped, high-impact improvements.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and technical debt.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong full-stack skills
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript, including state management and component-based architecture.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot, including building and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience owning a module or feature area end to end, and designing scalable systems.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical discussions.
• Familiarity with Git, code review, and CI/CD workflows.
• A product mindset: you care how your work affects users and the business.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-growing startup, marketplace, or HR-tech environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP.
• Experience with mobile development or Flutter.

Location & Start Date
Taipei, Taiwan. We aim to have the role filled within 2026.
