What they need
Description The Product Engineer II is responsible for creating product design concepts and drawings for internally or externally funded research and development programs, to include the development of armor, blast attenuating seats, and other product technologies for ground vehicles, aircrafts, and a wide variety of infrastructure security needs. Additionally, the Product Engineer II is responsible for assisting with the procurement, building, and integration of developmental products, as well as testing which may include functional, ballistic, blast, and/or drop tower testing. Lastly, the Product Engineer II is responsible for developing technical documents to support design reviews, testing, requirements tracking, trade studies, etc.
Assignment Of Functions Or Duties
- Designing, developing, and detailing new technologies and products using SolidWorks.
- Development of technical documents (Design reviews, trade studies, test plans/reports, etc.).
- Assist with product development procurement, building, and testing.
- Maintain legacy production products.
- Assist with bid and proposal efforts
