Product Engineer / Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining the HarmonyOS ecosystem for applications in Hong Kong and Macao, and conducting comprehensive application testing.
• Lead the management of issues related to application and ecosystem experiences; maintain close communication with the project team and R&D to identify, track, and drive the resolution of relevant issues.
• Regularly organize and analyze ecosystem data, producing relevant reports to promote the improvement and optimization of ecosystem capabilities.
• Support developers in resolving issues encountered during the adaptation of applications to HarmonyOS, assist developers in formulating solutions, and promote application development.[K1]
• Manage the distribution, registration, collection, and daily management of test phones, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Recruit, contact and maintain local Hong Kong users for new phone/system testing and addressing daily inquiries.
• Assign simple experience tasks to users, collect feedback on usage experiences and issues, and guide them to submit feedback via designated procedures.
• Organize user feedback and test data, perform basic statistical analysis and prepare periodic reporting.
• Assist in distributing activity rewards and phone subsidies, and follow up on any abnormalities with sample devices (e.g., loss, damage, etc.).
• Maintain communication with the wider team to synchronize Hong Kong’s progress and user feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1 – 2 years of experience in testing, mobile client development, community operations, or device management preferred; prior experience with HarmonyOS, iOS, or Android application development is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility with excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities; capable of independently completing assigned tasks.
• Flexible in adapting to project-based work rhythms and, when necessary, coordinate with users during weekends or evenings.
• Adequate understanding of the application ecosystem in HK and Macau; passionate in digital products, passionate about consumer electronics, with some market research awareness and the ability to organize user feedback.
• Hong Kong local; fluent in Cantonese with strong Mandarin proficiency. Ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in using Excel, detail-oriented, and organized, capable of managing device registration and inventory.
• Immediately availability is highly preferred.
