Product Experience Technician

We are looking for a Panel Assistant (Part Time) for our client operating in the“Flavor” industry, whom we provide consultancy services to.

Qualifications

• Graduated from universities’ Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or related science departments,
• Preferably a recent graduate or at the beginning of their career,
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs,
• Strong communication skills,
• Good level of English (reading, writing, speaking),
• Team-oriented,
• Strong planning and organizational skills,
• Detail-oriented, careful, and organized,
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously,
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment,
• Able to take responsibility and independently follow up on assigned tasks,
• Able to work in Gebze.

Job Description

• Plan tests in collaboration with team members and ensure that all necessary information for test execution is ready.
• Carry out sample preparation, labeling, weighing, tray preparation, and documentation processes for sensory evaluation sessions.
• Serve products and references during sensory evaluation sessions and support training sessions.
• Prepare internal discrimination tests (triangle test, tetrad, etc.), organize participants, and collect data.
• Work in coordination with researchers in the relevant Department.
• Support test designs in relevant software.
• Ensure that product safety information is entered completely into the relevant forms.
• Maintain the sensory analysis laboratory and track stocks (containers, bottles, lids, odor sticks, products, etc.).
• Manage the ordering, delivery, and traceability of test products and record the relevant product information (product photographs, production and expiration dates, dosage information, etc.).
• Keep IFF reference materials up to date and renew them when necessary.
• Update the relevant databases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities in the sensory laboratory.
