Product Graphic Designer

OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a full-time position and will report directly to the Graphic Design Lead. The primary duty of this role is to research and design seasonal collections of t-shirts, headwear, accessories, and hard goods for retail.

JOB DUTIES: RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

·     Create and present cad decks to sales team and prepare for buyer meetings.

·     Modify or revise designs to meet customer needs or production limitations.

·     Understanding fabrics/materials as well as logo applications/techniques.

·     Understanding how to design for a variety of budgets.

·     Strong illustration skills for full design t-shirt graphics.  Knowledge of print techniques helpful.

·     Work with overseas factories to make sure designs are production ready.

·     Work across multiple internal departments.

·     Must be able to do trend research and know how to apply it to designs across customer base.

Qualifications & Requirements

•     Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design.

•     Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

•     Must be able to understand composition, color science and color combinations in design.

•     Excellent eye for aesthetic design and designing for a targeted audience.

•     Able to create seamless patterns.

•     Must be able to manage timeline for project management.

•     Basic understanding of Excel is a plus.

•     Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

•     Must be proactive, organized and possess the ability to multi-task.

•     Written and verbal communication and follow up skills are very important.
