Product Manager - Card structure

Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive the strategy, development and industrialization of our card and wearable payment products. You will own the product vision end-to-end from roadmap definition to first customer delivery working across R&D, sales and key industry partners.

This role sits at the intersection of innovation, payment standards and market strategy, covering smart cards, contactless wearables and some innovations.

Key Missions

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and communicate the product vision and multi-year roadmap for PVC smart cards, payment wearables and card features, aligned with market trends and customer needs.
• Lead build-vs-partner analysis; identify, evaluate and develop strategic partner relationships to accelerate product capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholder such a engineering team, industrialisation team, delivery teams, sales and customers to turn strategy into executable product plans.

Product Development & Industrialization

• Drive the end-to-end product execution with R&D and industrialization teams, from concept through qualification and mass production.
• Manage component lifecycle: anticipate and resolve obsolescence issues, coordinate maintenance and support activities.
• Ensure product compliance with applicable standards (ISO 7810/7816, EMVCo, Visa/Mastercard) and oversee certification milestones.

Go-to-Market & Commercial Support

• Support Pricing team building a target cost models and defining price lists in coordination with Finance and Sales.
• Deliver product training to sales teams.
• Prepare and present product pitches and demonstrations to prospects and strategic customers.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and provide competitive positioning inputs.

Profile & Other Information

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 to 5 years in product management, ideally in payment technology, smart cards.
• Understanding of card structures, NFC/contactless protocols, and the payment card ecosystem (schemes, issuers,…).
• Strong analytical mindset; ability to translate technical constraints into business value.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams without direct authority. Experience managing product partnerships with external vendors.
