Salesforce Product Manager | Houston, TX (Hybrid)

I'm currently supporting a leading US homebuilding organisation on the search for a Salesforce Product Manager to take ownership of its Salesforce ecosystem and help build a stronger internal Salesforce capability.

This isn't a traditional Product Manager role.

You'll own the strategy, roadmap and ongoing development of Salesforce across Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud, while remaining hands-on with the platform and acting as the bridge between Sales, Marketing, Technology and external Salesforce partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce product roadmap, backlog and delivery priorities

• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions

• Lead solution design across Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud

• Configure and enhance Salesforce using Flow, automation, security, reports and dashboards

• Support Marketing Cloud across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio and segmentation

• Oversee integrations, APIs and custom development where required

• Establish standards across architecture, security, testing, documentation and releases

• Manage Salesforce consulting partners and ensure quality, cost and knowledge transfer

• Reduce external dependency by building stronger internal Salesforce capability

• Help recruit and develop Salesforce Administrators, Developers and Analysts

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience

• Strong hands-on experience across Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud

• Background as a Salesforce Product Manager, Product Owner, Solution Architect or Platform Lead

• Experience owning Salesforce roadmaps, backlogs, releases and delivery priorities

• Strong understanding of Flow, security, data architecture and declarative automation

• Working knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and APIs

• Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio and Data Extensions

• Strong Salesforce integration experience across APIs, middleware or ETL technologies

• Experience managing Salesforce consulting partners or managed service providers

• Strong business-facing communication and stakeholder management skills

Initial Priorities

• Take ownership of the Salesforce roadmap, backlog and release process

• Establish stronger Salesforce design, development and governance standards

• Improve platform reliability, adoption and business confidence

• Strengthen internal knowledge and reduce reliance on external partners

• Define the longer-term Salesforce team structure and hiring plan
