Senior Product Manager – Member Experience (Freelance, 6 months)

Are you a product manager who invests yourself and builds products people use every day?

Our client is a well-established, subscription-based investing research and education platform with a large, loyal membership. Its team has built a powerful AI-driven research engine. Your job is to turn it into a product members open every day, not just an email they read.

What you’ll do

• Own member engagement as your core metric, the product-side driver of retention and renewal
• Lead the roadmap and backlog for the member platform: dashboard, portfolio tools, community and mobile app
• Improve onboarding and activation so new members get real value in days, not weeks
• Build personalised experiences on top of the AI engine, while staying on the right side of the line between helpful insight and regulated financial advice
• Run ongoing member research and usage analysis that shapes product decisions

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years in product management, ideally at an investing or trading app, brokerage or other consumer fintech
• A track record of improving engagement and retention on a consumer or subscription product
• Hands-on investing experience: you understand the members because you are one
• An AI-native way of working, comfortable prototyping fast and working alongside AI agents
• The ability to bring engineering, design, data and marketing with you
• Bonus: experience building personalisation or recommendation features
