Product Manager, Digital Platform

Responsibilities

• Responsible for digital platform management in Fintech to ensure the successful delivery of digital initiatives and projects; Oversee and manage every release of the bank's mobile application (APP), ensuring smooth and successful deployment, testing, and implementation, while adhering to release management best practices and minimizing disruption to end-users.
• Oversee the management of the Content Management Systems (CMS) for the APP and public website via creating or improving internal workflows, providing support to relevant business lines, and ensuring timely update, enhancement, and maintenance.
• Manage innovative platform projects for the bank, such as CDI, Open API, and IADS in compliance with HKMA regulations.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog of digital platform projects, using Jira to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely execution.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers and developers via Figma to ensure seamless integration of designs into the digital platforms.
• Lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of our Digital eKYC Onboarding Platform.
• Oversee the maintenance and evolution of the platform, ensuring its reliability, security, and functionality.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to implement and integrate new digital solutions.
• Ensure best practices are utilized/ shared
• Support the analysis of and reporting on platform performance and/or campaign performance and behaviours and incorporate learnings into current and future planning
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital platform operations, security, and data privacy.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the team heads
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to digital platforms.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information System or other related field. Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, PSPO, CBAP are a plus.

• 3+ years relevant experience within Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Public Website or relevant experience in Digital Marketing is an advantage.

• Candidates with ECF certification will be favorably considered.

• Strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, and Figma for project management and collaboration.

• Solid understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) and experience in managing CMS for mobile applications and public websites.

• Familiarity with HKMA regulations and guidelines related to innovation projects, such as CDI, Open API, and IADS.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive resolutions.

• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and experience working with designers and developers to implement digital solutions.

• Strong presentation skills with ability to gain alignment on recommendations.

• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
