Product Manager (Genomics)

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap for genomics products in line with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and potential product improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, operations, and other cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and features.
• Gather and prioritize customer feedback and requirements, translating them into clear product specifications and user stories.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept and development through commercialization, including positioning, pricing, and go-to-market planning.
• Establish and monitor product KPIs and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to support product decisions and optimization.
• Serve as the key contact for product-related matters and coordinate effectively between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices to ensure product development remains compliant.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather market insights and support product adoption.
• Present product strategies, progress updates, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably within genomics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or life sciences industries.

• Good understanding of the genomics market, including key players, customer segments, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.

• Strong market research and competitive analysis skills with the ability to identify opportunities and support product strategy.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
