Product Manager / Product Owner - Network Model Management (NMM)

Salary: €70,000 - €75,000

We are working with an established technology business specialising in software solutions for the electricity transmission and distribution sector. They are looking for an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to take ownership of their Network Model Management (NMM) product.

The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, software development and electricity-grid operations, working closely with engineering teams and utility customers to shape and deliver a market-leading NMM platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the NMM product strategy, roadmap and product vision.
• Translate customer and market requirements into clear product requirements and priorities.
• Work closely with software engineering and development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Engage directly with TSOs, DSOs and electricity utilities to understand network modelling and operational requirements.
• Define and prioritise product features, enhancements and integrations.
• Develop product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate product releases and communicate roadmap priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor developments in electricity grid technology, network modelling and utility software.
• Identify opportunities to improve network model management, data quality, validation, synchronisation and network representation.
• Work closely with commercial, implementation and technical teams to ensure the product meets customer requirements.
• Act as the internal subject-matter expert for Network Model Management.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Network Model Management within the electricity or utilities sector.
• Strong understanding of electricity distribution and/or transmission networks.
• Experience working with DSOs, TSOs or electricity network operators.
• Previous experience in Product Management, Product Ownership or a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of network modelling, grid topology and electricity network data.
• Experience working closely with software engineering and development teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional fluency in English.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with CIM / CGMES and utility integration architectures.
• Experience with GIS, ADMS, DMS, EMS, SCADA or OMS .
• Knowledge of power system modelling and network topology.
• Experience with network model validation, synchronisation or transformation.
• Experience working with European electricity utilities.
• Previous experience delivering software products to multiple utilities.
• Technical or engineering background within the energy or electricity sector.
