Requirements

• Understanding observability concepts strong grasp of the observability pillars - logs, metrics, traces familiarity with distributed systems, microservices and their challenges
• Experience with Observability tools
• Hands on knowledge of tools like New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, VM and Open Telemetry
• Exposure to trends in observability frameworks and standards.
• Engineering experience
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, understanding their points and translate into product needs.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, CICD and DevOps.
• Exposure to APIs, Backend Apps.
• Data Analysis
• Ability to interpret patterns, anomalies and opportunities from complex sets of data.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of Product management experience.
• Technical education: degrees in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
• Having proven success in working on unstructured problems, defining hypothesis, creating MVPs, running experiments and analysing results to drive data-driven decisions.
• Understanding how observability impacts business like availability/reliability, customer Satisfaction and business impact.
• Prior experience in observability or devops proven track record in building and managing observability systems.
• Prioritisation and decision-making skills demonstrating how these have taken into account business priorities, complexity, dependencies and value.
