In this role, you will lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of our SaaS platform’s global payment gateway integration, checkout flows, transaction routing, and merchant settlement services.
You will work closely with engineering, compliance, finance, and enterprise customer success teams to deliver frictionless checkout experiences, optimize transaction approval rates, and maintain rock-solid compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Product Vision
- Roadmap Ownership: Define and execute the multi-year product roadmap for payments, subscription billing, payout integrations, and merchant onboarding.
- Vendor & Gateway Strategy: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with global payment processors, acquirers, and gateway partners (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, localized payment methods).
- Payment Performance Optimization: Optimize transaction success rates, reduce payment friction, manage intelligent retry logic, and minimize processing fees.
Execution & Engineering Delivery

- Agile Sprint Execution: Partner closely with dedicated backend/frontend engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to build robust, scalable payment APIs and developer tools.
- Developer Experience: Ensure seamless integration experiences for internal systems and external developer ecosystems via clean APIs, Webhooks, and SDKs.
Risk, Security & Compliance
- Ensure all payment services strictly adhere to PCI-DSS Level 1 , 3D Secure (3DS2) , PSD2 / SCA , and local data sovereignty laws.
- Collaborate with risk and operations teams to design automated fraud detection systems, chargeback mitigation workflows, and identity verification steps.
Job Requirement:-
- 5+ years of Product Management experience focused specifically on payments, payment gateways, merchant acquiring, or fintech solutions within a SaaS or multi-tenant B2B platform.
- Deep understanding of the payment lifecycle (authorization, capture, settlement, payout, chargebacks, tokenization, and reconciliation).
- Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, microservices architecture, and technical documentation.
- Strong familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance, 3DS2, interchange rates, chargeback management, and cross-border payment regulations.
- Experience using data analytics tools (SQL, Mixpanel, Tableau) to track authorization rates, drop-off rates, and processor performance metrics.
