About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Proteomics Product Manager to lead and grow our proteomics portfolio including industry-leading brands Akoya Biosciences (spatial proteomics), Hawk Biosciences (spatial biomarker validation) Bruker Beacon (single cell functional analysis), and Quanterix (ultra-sensitive biomarker detection).

This is an exciting opportunity for a scientifically qualified professional to combine technical expertise with strategic sales and marketing, driving revenue growth and market expansion across Australia.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy, building key customer relationships, and delivering impactful marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Quanterix, Akoya Biosciences, Hawk Biosciences and Bruker Beacon product portfolios
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
• Build deep expertise across key product ranges and their respective markets
• Identify market trends, opportunities, and key customer segments to guide business strategy
• Engage with existing and prospective customers (independently and alongside the sales team) to drive commercial outcomes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Plan and deliver seminars, trade shows, and promotional activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to create impactful marketing collateral
• Provide product demonstrations and support technical discussions with customers
• Work closely with Field Application Scientists to support customer needs
• Manage service contracts, renewals, and scheduling
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage customer quotations
• Contribute to pricing strategies and profitability improvements
• Identify and evaluate new vendor opportunities aligned with the proteomics portfolio

About You

Qualifications

• Degree in Biological Sciences

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' industry sales experience

• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• Proven sales track record and marketing capability
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, confident, highly organised, and engaging professional presence

• Commercial mindset with the ability to articulate product value propositions, ability to deliver customer-focused solutions that drive results
