What they need

About Siemens Digital Industries Software Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Position Overview We're seeking a strategic Product Manager to lead the evolution of our Workflow capabilities within the Mendix platform. In this role, you'll drive customer and business value by defining and executing product strategies and roadmaps that translate market opportunities into measurable outcomes. You'll work with customers to deliver a portfolio of agentic enterprise orchestration capabilities that deliver maximum value, while ensuring our AI smart assistant, Maia, offers the best orchestration generation possible. You'll lead the product journey from initial ideation through launch and beyond, collaborating closely with stakeholders to shape business orchestration capabilities through BPMN-compatible workflows and microflows. This is an opportunity to innovate together with customers, manage product-market fit, and become fluent in the broader Mendix product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Workflow orchestration capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the agentic enterprise vision
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify emerging trends, competitive opportunities, and product differentiation in business process orchestration
  • Develop and prioritize the product roadmap for workflows and microflows, balancing customer feedback, technical feasibility, and business impact
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements to the Workflow portfolio
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product adoption across enterprise customers
  • Manage product-market fit by closely engaging with key customers and user communities to validate product concepts, gather feedback, and build strong relationships
  • Monitor product performance metrics and KPIs, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize product outcomes

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for platforms, frameworks, or developer experiences
  • Strong understanding of business process orchestration, workflow automation, or low-code/no-code development platforms
  • Demonstrated success innovating for and together with customers, including management of product-market fit
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment
  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a passion for understanding customer needs and translating them into product strategy
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in generative AI, agentic AI, or business process orchestration through education, software development experience, or personal projects
  • Familiarity with the Mendix platform or low-code development ecosystems
  • Experience in enterprise software or SaaS product management
