Button is building the future of the commerce-powered internet — enabling performance marketing and monetization at scale across marketplaces, brands, and creators. We’re creating products that unlock new value at the intersection of discovery, engagement, and conversion. Our mission is to empower the companies shaping the creator and affiliate economy — fueling mobile growth with innovation and new paths to monetization.

This position is based out of Button’s New York City hub, with three days in office each week.

Role Overview As a Product Marketing Manager, you will define how Button brings its products to market — shaping positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy across our suite of performance marketing solutions.

You will sit at the intersection of Product, Partner Success, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring that Button’s products are clearly understood, effectively adopted, and positioned to win in a competitive and rapidly evolving ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on translating complex product capabilities into compelling narratives that drive adoption and revenue.

As a Product Marketing Manager, You Will Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for Button’s products across advertisers, publishers, and partners
  • Translate technical product capabilities into value-driven narratives tailored to different audiences (e.g., retailers, affiliate partners, creators)
  • Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback, performance data, and competitive dynamics

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Own end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new product launches and feature releases
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Partner Success to ensure successful launches and adoption
  • Define target segments, use cases, and ideal customer profiles for new and existing products
  • Build launch plans including enablement, content, and demand generation alignment

Sales & Partner Enablement

  • Create high-impact sales materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and objection handling guides
  • Enable Partner Success Managers and Partner Development Associates with messaging, positioning, and product knowledge
  • Support strategic deals with tailored narratives and materials

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing research on competitors, industry trends, and the broader affiliate/creator economy landscape
  • Develop and maintain competitive positioning and battlecards
  • Identify emerging opportunities and inform product strategy based on market insights

Customer & Partner Insights

  • Gather and synthesize feedback from advertisers, publishers, and internal teams
  • Use data and insights to inform positioning, product roadmap input, and GTM strategy
  • Partner with Product to ensure customer needs are reflected in product development

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Collaborate with Marketing to produce content that drives awareness and adoption (e.g., blog posts, case studies, webinars, product announcements)
  • Help position Button as a leader in performance marketing and the creator/affiliate ecosystem

We Look For Teammates Who Have

  • 3–6 years of experience in product marketing, growth, or related roles (preferably in B2B SaaS, adtech, martech, or marketplaces)
  • Strong ability to translate complex products into clear, compelling messaging
  • Experience owning or contributing to product launches and go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Curiosity about performance marketing, affiliate ecosystems, and the creator economy
