Product Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Responsible for the evaluation, qualification, and localization of mechanical components used in motor driver products. The role supports cost reduction, supply continuity, ad product improvement through component validation, drawing control, technical documentation, and supplier coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify new or alternative mechanical components to support cost reduction and supply continuity
• Review component specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure suitability and compliance
• Plan and execute component validation activities, analyze test results, and resolve technical issues to ensure product quality and reliability
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and evaluation records
• Coordinate technical matters with suppliers and internal teams to support product and manufacturing requirements
• Support component localization, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor project progress and ensure assigned activities are complete within established timelines
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards

About you

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related disciplines
• Able to read and create engineering drawings, including isometric and orthographic drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
• Familiar with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software
• Familiar with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, protractors, smart scope, and other inspection equipment
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
