Product Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end Product Operations across the product lifecycle, from discovery and launch to adoption, optimization and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure smooth product execution.
• Establish and monitor product KPIs, OKRs, dashboards and performance metrics to identify opportunities and operational gaps.
• Drive product launch and go-to-market operations, including readiness, stakeholder alignment, documentation, training and post-launch tracking.
• Analyze product and business data to generate actionable insights for product and business decisions.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and lead process improvement, workflow optimization and automation initiatives.
• Manage product-related SOPs, processes, documentation, reporting and governance.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure deliverables, timelines and dependencies are effectively managed.
• Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements, user feedback and operational requirements and translate them into actionable product improvements.
• Support product roadmap planning, prioritization and execution through data and operational insights.
• Track customer/user adoption, engagement, retention and other product metrics and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain dashboards and management reports using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI or Tableau.
• Manage product incidents, escalations, risks and dependencies in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Drive Agile/Scrum/Kanban operating practices and improve product team efficiency.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and technology partners where required.
• Prepare regular business reviews, product performance reports and executive-level presentations.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Business Operations, Program Management, Strategy or Technology Operations.
• Experience working in product-led, technology, SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, marketplace or digital-product environments.
• Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, product development and product operations processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Product, Technology, Business and Operations.
• Strong analytical skills with practical experience in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics/reporting tools.
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs, OKRs, product metrics and operational performance indicators.
• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and deliver process optimization, automation and operational improvements.
• Experience supporting product launches, GTM activities and post-launch performance monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Jira, Confluence and product/project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous and highly collaborative environment.
• Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to connect product metrics with business outcomes.
• Experience working with senior leadership/executives and preparing management-level reports and recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• MBA/PGDM or relevant Product Management/Agile certification is preferred.
• Candidates already having UAE/GCC experience or experience working with multicultural/global teams may have an advantage.
