Product Owner

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will own the direction and delivery of one or more products in the studio's portfolio. Sitting between business goals, users, and engineering, you translate vision into a clear, prioritized backlog and keep teams focused on outcomes that matter. You thrive on ambiguity, make decisions with incomplete information, and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while keeping delivery on track.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for one or more ventures.

• Translate business objectives and user needs into a well-defined, prioritized backlog of epics and user stories.

• Write clear requirements and acceptance criteria, and make timely decisions to unblock delivery.

• Partner with engineering, design, and QA to plan sprints, scope releases, and ship on schedule.

• Gather and synthesize input from stakeholders, users, and data to inform prioritization and trade-offs.

• Define and track success metrics; use them to guide iteration and de-prioritize what isn't working.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and keep everyone aligned on scope, timeline, and status.

• Coordinate across multiple products or workstreams as the portfolio demands.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of product management or product ownership experience delivering software products.

• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into an actionable, prioritized backlog.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfort with agile delivery practices and tools for backlog and sprint management.

• Analytical mindset — able to define metrics, interpret data, and make evidence-based decisions.

• Proven ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience owning multiple products or working in a studio, agency, or multi-product environment.

• Familiarity with technical concepts sufficient to engage credibly with engineers.

• Experience with user research, discovery, and go-to-market coordination.

• Track record of launching new products from concept to release.
