Product Owner

About the role :

At Ticketmelon, the Product Owner in the product development team works closely with software engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to improve and innovate existing products and help shape new products from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities :

• Engage closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring alignment with product objectives, product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, actively participate in and lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives with the Engineering, Design, QA, and other teams to determine the optimal implementation methods and plan releases on a reasonable schedule.
• Manage team workload effectively, ensuring it is neither overwhelming nor underutilized, to maintain productivity and optimize team capacity.
• Maintain detailed documentation of product updates, workflows, and decisions to facilitate smooth communication and knowledge sharing across all stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them promptly or document them for future improvements.
• Able to work on-site during weekends or public holidays when required.

Minimum Qualifications :

• 2+ years of experience in a product owner or project manager role
• Experience working in the e-commerce industry, a tech startup environment, and building a product from scratch
• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Thai and English language
• Effective time management and task prioritization skills
• Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and is able to execute with autonomy.
• Solid understanding of the product life cycle
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with product management tools such as Jira

Work-from-Home Option: Hybrid with a minimum of 2 office days

Office Location: Silom, near BTS Surasak (700 m walk)
