Product Owner

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, including key features, initiatives, and milestones.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and product goals.
• Create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria to provide clear requirements for development teams.
• Work closely with business, technology, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on product priorities and delivery.
• Identify business opportunities, customer needs, and market trends to drive product enhancements and growth.
• Lead and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Use data analysis, customer insights, and market research to support product decisions and measure product performance.
• Manage product-related risks, changes, priorities, and dependencies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Present product strategies, roadmaps, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders and business leaders.
• Ensure products are developed with a strong focus on customer experience, usability, business value, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a related role.
• Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, Technology, or eCommerce is preferred.
• Strong experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and product backlog management.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with cross-functional technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of business opportunity development, data analysis, market research, and design thinking.
• Experience in program/project management, change management, and business risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business presentation skills.
• Ability to translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and actionable priorities.
• Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to balance business goals, customer experience, and technical considerations.
