Product Owner - Digital

As a Product Owner - Digital, you'll initially focus on building and embedding ART Life's digital product capability as part of a major digital transformation program. You'll establish product vision, governance, roadmaps, backlogs and ways of working, before evolving into the ongoing business owner of ART Life's digital products.

In this newly created role, you'll work closely with stakeholders across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, data and vendor partners to ensure digital capabilities deliver meaningful customer, commercial and operational outcomes.

You’ll be empowered to make value-based product decisions, prioritise initiatives, and balance customer needs, business goals, risk requirements and delivery considerations. You'll also use customer insights, market trends and performance data to continuously improve digital experiences and product outcomes.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Day to day, you'll:

• Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, value proposition and desired outcomes.
• Prioritise the product backlog using customer, business, regulatory and commercial considerations.
• Design and lead showcases to teams to ensure ‘fit for purpose’ and adoption through your change delivery expertise.
• Make informed decisions on scope, priorities and delivery trade-offs.
• Partner with technology teams and vendors to plan releases, manage performance and optimise product outcomes.
• Monitor product performance, adoption and benefits, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure privacy, security, accessibility, risk and compliance requirements are considered throughout the product lifecycle.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and support the development of ART Life's digital product capability.
• Bring deep product ownership experience and a genuine interest in developing your leadership expertise.

• You have extensive experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or senior business owner of customer-facing digital products.
• Your experience includes managing product roadmaps, backlogs and value-based prioritisation.
• You'll bring strong commercial acumen and an understanding of product investment, vendor management and lifecycle costs.
• You're experienced working with agile delivery teams, technology partners and external vendors.
• You can translate customer, operational and performance insights into effective product decisions.
• Your stakeholder engagement and influencing skills enable you to build trusted relationships across all levels.
• You'll have an understanding of digital experience, accessibility and user experience principles.
• You're experienced in financial services (insurance or banking) or another highly regulated environment.
• You hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
