About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, delivery, and continuous

enhancement of mobile applications. The ideal candidate combines strong product ownership capabilities with a solid

technical background in mobile application development, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams

while driving business and customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

• Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for mobile applications.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business, customer, and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, product backlogs, and functional requirements.
• Define product objectives, success metrics, KPIs, and expected business outcomes.
• Drive product planning, release management, feature prioritization, and continuous improvement.

Mobile Product Management

• Lead end-to-end mobile product development from discovery through production release and optimization.

• Ensure adherence to mobile development best practices, usability standards, platform guidelines, security,

  performance, and quality expectations.

• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.- Validate requirements against technical feasibility, user needs, delivery constraints, and business value.

• Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify enhancement opportunities

Stakeholder Management & Agile Delivery

• Act as the key liaison across business, development, UX/UI, operations, and external partners.
• Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with local and global stakeholders.
• Manage expectations, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog and support Agile ceremonies.
• Balance business needs, customer expectations, technical constraints, and delivery timelines

Qualifikationen

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a

  related field.

• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis,

  software delivery, or related areas.

• Proven experience managing and delivering mobile application products.

• Demonstrable evidence of previously launched, managed, or enhanced mobile applications in production. A portfolio,

  case study, or equivalent proof may be requested.

• Strong technical understanding of mobile architecture, development lifecycle, APIs, integration, security,

  performance, and release processes.

• Good knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems and mobile application best practices.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.

Preferred

• Agile Product Owner certification such as PSPO, CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent.
• Experience within automotive, mobility solutions, connected services, or customer-facing digital products.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale digital products or mobile platform.

• Roadmaps, prioritization, lifecycle management, requirements engineering,

  business analysis, product discovery, KPI definition, and Agile delivery.

Technical

• Mobile architecture, iOS and Android, APIs, integration, SDLC, security, performance optimization, release processes, and mobile UX/UI principles.

Leadership

• Stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and expectation management.

Additional Requirements

• Willing to travel for business when required.

• Comfortable collaborating across international time zones, particularly Germany.

• Flexible to support occasional extended working hours for Germany time-zone collaboration, critical releases,

  workshops, or project milestones.
