Product Quality Engineer

About the role

The QA Engineer will be in charge of establishing evaluations for acceptance or rejection criteria according to customer specification. Establishing and maintaining quality management system (QMS) according to AS9100, customer requirements and 3rd parties (i.e., NADCAP) requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for daily product quality performance and reporting of non-conformance
• Provide technical assistance for any product quality acceptance and Quality Management System (QMS) compliant
• Understand blueprint and manage to interpret requirement
• Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) team on establishing quality criteria for new products covering incoming, intermediate, and final inspection
• Create documents e.g., Inspection Plan, First Article Inspection Report, Quality Procedure, Work Instruction, etc.
• Carry out CMM programming for inspection of parts
• Understand and implement requirement of AS9100, customers', or NADCAP
• Maintain compliance of AS9100, Customer and NADCAP and certifications
• Conduct Quality audit and lead cross functional team to solving quality problem based on 8D technical
• Maintain and ensure validation of calibration status of all Measurement and Testing Equipment

About you

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality or Engineering job function in precision manufacturing industry
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Material, Industrial or Aerospace are preferred)
• Experience in QMS of ISO 9001, IATF16949, AS9100, or NADCAP is preferred
• Proficient with CMM programmer PC-DMIS and/or Quartis is preferred
• Strong communication skill and good communication in English
• Knowledge in Quality core tools (APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and GD&T
• Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Able to use common measurement equipment such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer
• Good attitude and safety mindset
• Able to work under pressure
