Product Sourcing and Development Manager

We are looking for an Amazon Product Sourcing and Development Manager on behalf of a growing US-based Amazon Private Label brand. As the brand scales, the founder needs someone to fully own the product itself from sourcing and factory validation through to shelf-ready so he can focus on growth and marketing.

This is a hands-on, ownership role, not a coordination role. You will be the person who knows the factories, catches quality issues before they become returns, and makes sure nothing launches late because of a sourcing delay.

Shift Timings: Afternoon

What You will Own:

• Take products from spec through factory selection, sampling, and validation to shelf-ready
• Hold and grow direct relationships with China-based factories — this is not a “worked with factories before” role, you need an existing network
• Resolve quality issues on live products directly with suppliers
• Own the launch timeline from the supply side — production, samples, and shipping stay on schedule against launch dates
• Write clear technical content for product inserts and instruction manuals

What This Role Does Not Cover:

• PO creation and inventory management (handled by a separate team member)
• Marketing, listing optimization, or PPC (handled by the founder and existing team)

What We’re Looking For

• Proven, direct experience sourcing from China factories — not through a middleman or agency layer
• Track record of taking products from concept/sample through to launch
• Strong written English — you’ll be producing customer-facing technical content, not just internal notes
• Comfortable owning outcomes independently, without heavy hand-holding

Nice to Have

• Prior experience specifically in Amazon Private Label (understanding of PLC, listing requirements, what “launch-ready” means for Amazon)
• Experience negotiating pricing and terms directly with suppliers
