PRODUCT SPECIALIST

About the role

Impexcos Co. is seeking a Product Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our products and our customers, ensuring that market opportunities are maximised and customer needs are met. You will be responsible for driving product success through strategic initiatives, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is essential to our product management and development objectives, directly contributing to the company's growth and market positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes relevant to our product portfolio
• Develop and maintain detailed product knowledge, positioning, and messaging to effectively communicate value propositions to internal and external stakeholders
• Support the product development lifecycle by gathering customer feedback, insights, and requirements to inform product enhancements and new feature development
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling product content, including case studies, product briefs, presentations, and promotional materials
• Prepare and deliver product training sessions to sales teams, partners, and customers to ensure comprehensive understanding of product features and benefits
• Monitor product performance metrics and provide regular reporting on market reception, customer adoption, and competitive positioning
• Engage with customers through presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to understand their needs and drive product adoption
• Support pricing strategy development and product packaging initiatives based on market analysis and customer feedback
• Liaise between product management, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and consistent product messaging across all channels

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy
• 2-4 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a similar product-focused role
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with diverse teams including marketing, sales, product development, and customer success
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with product management or marketing tools
• Knowledge of the product development lifecycle and familiarity with agile methodologies
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Customer-centric mindset with a genuine interest in understanding and solving customer problems
• Experience in the Philippines market or with regional products is preferred
• Certification in product management or marketing (such as AIPMM, GPMG, or equivalent) is a plus
