Product Strategy Director

Duties

• Develop comprehensive product strategies by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to execute product development projects aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from requirements gathering, wireframing using tools like Balsamiq, to deployment and post-launch analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system development, APIs integration, and infrastructure considerations utilizing Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
• Utilize project management software like Jira, VersionOne, TFS, and Microsoft Project to plan sprints, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
• Drive data analytics initiatives using tools like Looker, SQL, and Google Analytics to inform decision-making and optimize product performance.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication across B2B sales channels, IT governance bodies, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on product vision and priorities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product management with a focus on software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile software development practices, including Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of AWS cloud services, APIs, databases (SQL), Java programming language, HTML, UML modeling, and Internet of Things (IoT) integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical cross-functional teams managing complex projects involving mobile applications, SaaS solutions, or enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Expertise in requirements design, wireframing tools like Balsamiq or UML diagrams for system analysis and user experience planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical teams and business units.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall alongside Agile planning tools like Jira or VersionOne for comprehensive project oversight.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), test case creation, and data analytics platforms like Looker or Microsoft Excel.
• Leadership qualities with a focus on strategic management, team collaboration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in agile environments.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
