Product Support Advisor

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Product Support Advisor within the Liebherr Mining division. Reporting through to the Customer Support Manager, this role will be responsible for the provision of effective and timely product and Service based advice to both Customers and Internal departments as required on a FIFO 8/6 Roster Days Only (Tuesday to Tuesday) Newman Operations - Based from Perth only.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high level diagnostic support and advice in mechanical and electrical services

• Inspect products and/or materials for conformity

• Spare parts advise and support in line with customer machine requirements

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals and make recommendations to internal and external customers

• Diagnostic analysis on Liebherr electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems

• Running adjustments to plant and equipment

• Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the Customer Support process

• Maintain effective relationships with customers

• Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any customer/site specific documentation required

About you

• Mobile Plant Mechanic trade or equivalent trade with Hydraulics and Tracks and Undercarriage units completed

• Essential Proven track record of high-level customer support Liebherr excavator and dozer experience

• Essential Excellent communication and time management skills

• The ability to provide accurate and timely advice Customer focused with great attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills

Additional Qualifications (Highly Regarded):

• Additional Low Voltage Training
• MDG25 certification
• Working at Heights certification
• Certificate IV Engineering (Fluid Power)
