For our Product Support position, we are looking for dedicated and service-oriented team members who can provide competent support to our customers and field service technicians with technical questions and issues. In this role, you will act as the interface betweenPiller Service, Sales, Project Management, and our Active Power customers. You will analyze technical issues, provide solutions, and ensure that our customers are always satisfied.

Your responsibilities

• Definition and development of technical requirements for service operations
• Establishment and continuous development of a technical support infrastructure
• Acting as the interface between Active Power Austin and Piller Service
• Acting as the interface between Sales/Project Management and Active Power Austin
• Creation of checklists for maintenance and service activities
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site at customer locations
• Following up on and handling customer complaints
• Conducting technical training sessions

Your Profile

• Completed degree/training as an Electronics Engineer, Electrical Engineering Technician, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience with products from the Active Power portfolio
• Good knowledge of PC applications, particularly MS Office and Lotus Notes
• Experience with proAlpha is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to travel for business
• Customer-oriented approach and friendly manner
