Essential Qualification and Work Experience:

• Graduate or post-graduate qualification in a related field.
• 3-6 years experience in vendor / third-party management, governance, risk or product support within banking or financial services.

Soft Skills :

• Clear communicator, able to ask the right questions and articulate ideas and actions.
• Strong collaboration across segments and geographies within a global matrix.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a strong control focus.

Technical Skills:

• Vendor onboarding, performance tracking, compliance reviews and governance reporting.
• Good understanding of trade products (Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance).
• Root cause analysis, process reviews and control environment assessment.
• Strong on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and governance reporting tools.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support in handling new vendor onboarding and management of existing vendors of GTS vendor management activities on regulatory, governance and policy framework reviews
• Ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures relevant to the GTS product area and domain responsibilities through on-going reviews and assurance process
• Assist GTS Product COE and Global Product Owners in follow up and handling of all related vendor activities to meet the necessary compliance and risk requirements
• Develop a robust and efficient control environment across GTS product organization to ensure good operational, financial management and compliance with client policy and procedures for vendor management
• Perform root cause analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements and increasing efficiencies Challenge legacy practices, bring process simplification and able to influence changes by maintaining control requirements
• Providing effective analysis and governance reporting, tracking of outstanding issues and actions
• Proactively review product frameworks / controls operated by onshore/offshore functions, identify gaps, and recommend improvement to control environment
• Protect the client, its CIB and GTS functions from potential financial and reputational losses by maintaining strict internal controls
