Product Technical Engineer / Application Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled Product Technical engineer/ Application Engineer to provide installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for electronic security systems and integrated technology solutions. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth system operation and timely resolution of technical issues.

Key responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for electronic, electrical, hardware, and software-related issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform testing, inspection, and rectification of technical issues.
• Support system maintenance and ensure equipment reliability.

2. System Installation & Implementation

• Support installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of security and technology systems.
• Ensure systems are installed according to project requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and troubleshooting during implementation.

3. Security System & Electrical Technical Support

• Support various security and electronic systems, including:
• CCTV surveillance systems
• Fingerprint biometric systems
• Facial recognition systems
• Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems
• Access control systems
• Electronic and electrical equipment
• Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support integration between different security and technology solutions.

4. Technical Documentation

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system reports, installation records, troubleshooting reports, and maintenance records.
• Update documentation based on system changes and improvements.

5. Project Coordination

• Support project execution and ensure technical requirements are fulfilled.

• Coordinate with internal teams and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

• Monitor project progress and provide technical updates.

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for electronic, electrical, hardware, and software-related issues

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or related fields
• Experience in technical support, system installation, troubleshooting, or system integration
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication skills and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
