Product Technician

The position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• SMT Processing & Prototyping: Execute SMT processes, including manual component soldering, board reworks, and prototype assembly troubleshooting.
• ATE & Bench Characterization: Operate ATE (ETS, TMT) and set up bench-level instruments (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies) to characterize new IC designs.
• ESD & Latch-Up Testing: Perform ESD & LU validation testing based on engineering test plans
• Reporting & Documentation: Compile raw test data, maintain precise lab logs, and generate clear technical summaries using Microsoft Office.
  Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a key liaison across R&D engineering teams to track, route, and report the status of engineering lots and development hardware.

Experience/Skills:

Education & Experience: College graduate / Technical Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Microelectronics Engineering with direct technical experience in a semiconductor R&D or NPI environment.

Testing & Hardware Mastery: Proven hands-on proficiency with SMT rework, bench characterization setups, and standard semiconductor testing methodologies (ATE, ESD/LU).

Schematic & Circuit Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, and basic electronic symbols to support hardware debugging, testing, and development activities.

Software Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data entry, analysis, and engineering reporting

Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail for tracking minor IC behaviour anomalies, paired with strong communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
