Product Training Manager

About the role

The Product Training Manager will oversee the product training team, drive training strategy, and ensure training initiatives directly impact retail sell-out performance. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-departmental training, managing trainer schedules, monitoring promoter sell-out numbers, and executing targeted coaching for underperforming trainers and store staff.

Key responsibilities

Team Management & Development

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of Product Trainers.

• Conduct skills assessments and deliver hands-on coaching to low-performing trainers and promoters.

• Manage workload distribution, field visits, and track individual trainer KPIs.

• Training Operations & Cross-Departmental Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Key Account Managers to align training schedules with product launches and promotional campaigns.

• Plan, design, and maintain the master training calendar across channels.

• Standardize training decks, feature cheat sheets, and assessment tools for all consumer and enterprise lineups.

Promoter Sell-Out & Performance Tracking

• Track and analyze promoter sell-out figures alongside field sales data to identify low-performing stores or product lines.

• Deploy targeted retraining programs to address sell-out gaps and improve promoter conversion rates.

• Evaluate the direct impact of training interventions on overall sales numbers.

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of experience in product training, trade marketing, or sales operations.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing field trainers or promoters.
• Industry Experience (Preferred / Advantage): Prior experience or deep familiarity with the DJI product ecosystem (drones, handheld gimbals, action cameras, and audio systems) or consumer technology/electronics retail is highly preferred.

Skills:

• Technical aptitude to quickly master complex hardware, software features, and firmware ecosystems.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management capabilities.
• High proficiency in cross-functional coordination, presentation delivery, and sales data tracking (Excel / reporting tools).
