Production Accountant

Located in Kalkaska, Michigan, this role will maintain oil and gas production volumes, reconcile discrepancies, and manage month end production reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

· Collect, review, and enter daily and monthly production data, including run tickets, meter readings, gauge sheets, and SCADA data

· Excecute production accounting month end processes

· Work with field operations to ensure production volumes are captured accurately

· Process transfer tickets in system

· Assists with generation of various regulatory reports

· Perform trend analysis in large monthly variances

· Assists engineering and operations with monitoring activities to identify production issues

Qualifications

· 2-5 years oil and gas production accounting experience with industry knowledge

· Working knowledge of oil and gas SCADA and production accounting software

· Experience in working with large data sets to QC and maintain

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines

· Communicates effectively in meetings and email communications with internal and external customers

· Demonstrates initiative and effectively interacts with team members

· Attention to detail in tracking daily production volumes, corrections, and transfers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
