Production Admin

About the role

The Production Admin is the backbone of efficient production, providing crucial administrative support to the entire production team. This role ensures smooth operations by handling various tasks and maintaining organization throughout the production process.

Job responsibilities

• Release production jobs on time to meet customer delivery deadlines and requirements
• Monitor job progress and identify potential delays
• Collaborate with various departments (Quality, Sales, Store, Engineering) to ensure efficient production coordination
• Generate Non-Conformance and Scrap inventory records in the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory data
• Generate reports to compare total Production quantity against Sales Order quantity for verification
• Update and generate reports as needed
• Prepare buy documents for subcontracting purposes
• File completed job documents in a systematic manner
• Liaise with internal Purchaser on material readiness, delivery timing, and shortage follow-up
• Track sub-out parts progress and ensure return schedule meets production requirement

Job Requirement

• Nitec or Diploma in Business, Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Prior experience in production or administrative roles is a plus
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in data entry
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
• Fast learning ability with a keen eye for detail
• Responsible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Lift 20lbs, no allergies to latex, no asthma
• Must be able to detect colors
