Production Administrator

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Production Administrator to join our growing team. This is an onsite position, with working hours from 10:00am to 6:30pm.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to support the Production Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient operation, monitoring and reporting of our production processes. The position ensures incoming meat deliveries are compliant with export market access requirements, and that production and processing data is inventory data and reporting requirements are true and accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Create the Daily Production ED and finalise production efficiency report (daily production report)
• Complete data entry for ingredient usage, ERP job orders and stock allocation
• Input daily processing data, analyse trends and provide insights to Production Manager
• Perform quality checks and document results as required
• Manage and maintain production records
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace health, safety, and environmental performance
• Contribute and uphold the site quality and food safety management system

About you

• 3+ years in a highly regulated production role (e.g. meat, dairy or pharma)
• Experience within a fast-paced production environment
• Experience with warehouse management software and ERP systems
• FMCG experience dealing with perishable items is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and able to drive effective cross functional discussions and accountability
• Ability to work autonomously and be a contributing member of the team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
• Proactive approach to everyday operations and problem solving
• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Suite, and ERP systems)
