Production & CNC Laser Machine Engineer

1. Fabrication & Production Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day fabrication and manufacturing activities at the factory.
• Assign work to welders, fabricators, helpers, and other shop-floor workers.
• Monitor employee productivity and ensure proper utilization of manpower.
• Check fabrication dimensions, workmanship, and product quality.
• Ensure jobs are completed as per production schedules and drawings.
• Coordinate cutting, grinding, drilling, welding, assembly, and finishing activities.

2. CNC Laser Machine Operation

• Operate CNC fiber laser cutting machines.
• Load cutting programs and operate the machine as per job requirements.
• Load and unload sheets or materials safely.
• Monitor cutting quality and identify basic machine or cutting issues.
• Perform routine machine checks and maintain proper machine cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the technical team for machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

3. Material Procurement & Workshop Coordination

• Identify material requirements based on production jobs.
• Visit nearby workshops, steel suppliers, and hardware shops to purchase required materials and consumables.
• Coordinate material collection, transportation, and delivery to the factory.
• Verify material quantities, specifications, and quality before acceptance.
• Maintain purchase bills and update material receipt records.
• Ensure materials are available on time to avoid production delays.

4. Production Planning & Reporting

• Prepare daily work plans and allocate tasks to workers.
• Track job progress and report completed and pending work.
• Maintain basic production, material, and manpower records.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shop floor.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of fabrication, welding, cutting, and mechanical assembly.
• Practical experience in CNC laser cutting machine operation is preferred.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and measurements.
• Good manpower handling and work allocation skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping ability.
• Willingness to travel locally for material purchases.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and willing to work hands-on on the shop floor

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
