PRODUCTION & OPERATION MANAGER

About the role

Sitara Diamond co.,ltd. is seeking an experienced Production & Operation Manager (6 days a week) to oversee and optimise our manufacturing and logistics operations. This is a full-time position based in Mueang Lamphun, Lamphun, where you will play a crucial strategic role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence across our facility. You will be responsible for managing teams, coordinating workflows, and implementing systems that enhance productivity and reduce costs whilst maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production operations to ensure targets are met on time and within budget
• Manage and develop production teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, and staff scheduling
• Monitor production quality standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, material procurement, and supply chain coordination
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all manufacturing processes
• Analyse production data and prepare reports on operational performance, efficiency metrics, and cost analysis
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production processes and develop solutions to optimise throughput
• Liaise with other departments including sales, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
• Implement and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery commitments
• Control operating costs through efficient resource allocation, waste reduction, and process optimisation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in production management or operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and achieving production targets
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management systems
• Femiliarity with Lean Manufacturing methodes , 5S , JIT, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent understanding of quality control processes and ISO standards
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred
