We Decorate Kakes is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, mechanically minded team member to support our bakery production and packaging operations. This hands-on role includes operating a flow-wrap packaging machine, assisting with the production of bakery goods, and helping ensure our products meet quality and food-safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor our flow-wrap packaging machine.
• Set up equipment and adjust settings for different products and production runs.
• Load bakery products and packaging film, change film rolls, and make basic machine adjustments.
• Inspect package seals, alignment, and finished products for consistent quality.
• Assist in the production of bakery goods, including preparing ingredients, portioning and assembling products, loading and unloading trays, and supporting baking and cooling activities as trained.
• Help package, label, and organize finished products for orders and distribution.
• Identify and report equipment problems, product defects, or production delays.
• Keep equipment, tools, and production and packaging areas clean and organized.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, equipment-safety, and production procedures.
• Work with the team to meet daily production goals and assist with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging, food-production, or manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable learning equipment operation, making basic adjustments, and troubleshooting routine issues.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced food-production environment.
• Willing to assist with both bakery production and packaging tasks.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive, hands-on tasks.
• Bakery or food-production experience is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
