Production & Process Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and technically driven Production & Process Engineer to oversee and improve daily manufacturing operations, facility maintenance, and production processes. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

1.      Production Management

o    Monitor daily production activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.

o    Coordinate manpower, machinery, and resources to optimise production efficiency.

o    Supervise production operators and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety requirements.

2.      Process Engineering & Improvement

o    Monitor and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

o    Troubleshoot production issues, process abnormalities, and quality defects.

o    Identify opportunities to reduce wastage, energy consumption, chemical usage, and production downtime.

o    Support process trials, new product development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

3.      Facility & Equipment Management

o    Monitor factory facilities, machinery, and utility systems to ensure smooth operations.

o    Coordinate preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair activities with the maintenance team.

o    Support equipment installation, facility upgrades, and engineering improvement projects.

o    Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

4.      Quality, Safety & Compliance

o    Work closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve operational issues.

o    Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO standards, workplace safety, and environmental requirements.

o    Support corrective and preventive actions to improve manufacturing performance.

5.      Reporting & Continuous Improvement

o    Monitor production output, machine downtime, process efficiency, and operational KPIs.

o    Maintain accurate production and engineering records.

o    Prepare performance reports and recommend improvement actions to management.

Requirements

·         Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Textile, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines.

·         Experience in manufacturing, production operations, or engineering is an advantage.

·         Knowledge of production processes, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.

·         Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

·         Fresh graduates with a strong technical background and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
